Ginger Orange Glazed Green Beans

So many ideas ALWAYS come to mind when I first see the contents. I am excited to share my favorite Asian inspired vegetable recipe with you. So easy! So flavorful. It works perfectly with the green beans and mushrooms in the bag this week. It also works great with broccoli, carrots, onions, cauliflower….any veggie pretty much. So get creative and make it your own – and above all, ENJOY!

Ginger Orange Glazed Green Beans

Ingredients

1 pound green beans – cleaned and trimmed

1 pound mushrooms – cleaned and thinly sliced

Sesame Oil

1/2 orange – zested and juiced

1 tablespoon miso paste

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon maple syrup

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 tablespoon finely chopped ginger

Sesame Seeds to finish

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 450. On a parchment-lined baking sheet, add the prepped green beans and mushrooms. Drizzle generously with sesame oil and toss lightly to coat. Roast for 20 minutes, until veggies start to brown. Remove from the oven when complete. Whisk the OJ, zest, miso paste, soy sauce, sesame oil, maple syrup, and ginger until smooth. Pour over the roasted veggies. Toss gently to coat evenly. Grab your prettiest serving dish and plate the veggies. Serve immediately. ENJOY every single bite!
