In the spirit of Thanksgiving – as we all prep to contribute – I thought I would share with you several of my holiday favorites which use ingredients from this and last week’s bags – in hopes they will become your favorites too!
1. Mini Herbed Pommes
Featuring LocalFarmOK potatoes and thyme
Starting off using the Potatoes and some thyme from last week’s bag is such a beautiful and tasty dish, Potatoes Anna. Click here to see the recipe! . This version, brought to you via Bon Appetit, is so perfect for Thanksgiving for it is in single serving form – and so very pretty. I like to sprinkle some parmesan cheese in between the layers too!
2. Sausage and Herb Stuffing
Featuring LocalFarmOK celery and an apple
Next up using the celery and an apple from last week’s bag is my favorite Sausage Herb Stuffing. Click here to see the recipe! This delicious recipe is brought to you from the fabulous Ina Garten. I prefer using breakfast country sausage in place of the Italian sausage called for. Just my preference. As well, dried cherries are just as wonderful in place of the cranberries called for. Make it your own. Enjoy!
